What is your "why"?

My passion has always been creating intentional experiences that connect people in meaningful ways across cultural and geographical lines. Regardless if it's a 3,000-year-old cultural site, a museum, a video game, an organization's internal structure, or a mobile application, creating experiences that connect people, processes, places, and things has been my focus for the past decade. I enjoy tackling complex challenges that may never have a clear answer and require ingenuity and adaptability.

Why did you get a degree in Archaeology?

The brief answer is: I love stories, solving puzzles, understanding people through empathic research, and learning about history.

The more detailed answer: Archaeology is the process of attempting to understand the motivations, needs, and actions of people long gone through the analysis of the things they've left behind. Archaeological Site Management was particularly fascinating as it blends generative research, strategic planning, marketing, communications, community engagement, budget management, and experience design – a storytelling, problem-solving, empathy-focused MBA in a way.
What is your favorite research method?

I love contextual interviews and ethnographic research. These are rare hands-on opportunities to stand in someone else's shoes even if only for a few hours. I also really enjoy competitive studies. A strategically focused competitive analysis is an extremely underrated method that can inspire and evolve how we face challenges while keeping costs low.
